Brighton Roberto De Zerbi, Alexis Mac Allister and Moises have been nominated for Premier League awards.

De Zerbi has been nominated for the Barclays Manager of the season, while Mac Allister and Caicedo have been nominated for the young player of the season.

De Zerbi impact since he took over at Albion on 18 September has been clear to see.

The Seagulls have gone from 11th in the table to sixth and have a great chance of securing European Football for the first time in the club’s history.

Under the Italian, Brighton have won 13 games, drawn six and lost nine of their 28 Premier League games. They have also scored 55 goals which is an average of 1.96 goals and a game and conceded forty goals, which is an average of 1.42 a game. That leaves them with a very healthy plus 15 goal difference in those 28 games.

De Zerbi has been nominated alongside Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, Aston Villa’s Unai Emery, Newcastle’s Eddie Howe and Fulham’s Marco Silva.

Mac Allister and Caicedo have been nominated off the Hublot Young Player of the Season.

Caicedo has been one of the first names on the teamsheet for the Seagulls this season. The 21-year has featured in all 34 of their Premier League games so far, scoring one goal and picking up one assist.

His adaptability has also been vital in recent weeks as he had to play at right back with Joel Veltman and Tariq Lamptey out injured.

Mac Allister has a terrific campaign and like Caicedo has been a regular in the side.

The 24-year- old has made 31 appearances in the Premier League and is the Seagulls top so far this season with 10 goals.

It has been quite the season for the Argentinian who helped his country to win the World Cup in the winter and will be hoping to cap it off by helping Albion to European football, next season.

The pair have been nominated alongside Newcastle’s duo Sven Botman and Alexander Isak, Arsenal trio Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
